Long-billed Corellas

Bruce photographed this solitary Long-billed Corella in the spring breeding season, when this species is found alone or in pairs. During the nonbreeding season, they appear in large flocks.
The Long-billed Corella has the longest, slenderest bill of any cockatoo species.
This Long-billed Corella may be an escaped pet. His home range is southern and southeastern Australia; we saw him in Central Australia with a flock of Little Corellas.
